Straight air caliper disc brake is pneumatic driven, it is equiped with air cylinder. There are three kinds of cylinder head available, 3#, 4# and 5#. Different cylinder head, its air volume capacity is different. For 3# cylinder head, its air volume capacity is 10cm³, 20cm³, 40cm³. 

DBG pneumatic caliper disc brake is a vertical mounted brake. It is friction type air applied brake. After supplying air pressure, two friction pads clamped braking disc plate, making it stopped. After exhausting air pressure, springs make two friction pads back, brake released, then braking disc plate rotating continous.
